Russell was born and raised in Atlanta. He graduated from The Westminster Schools as an Alpha-Omega in 1981. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Georgia in 1986. He pursued courses in the History of Historical Preservation in Georgia and was instrumental in organizing a walking tour of historic homes in Athens. After a brief stint working in the Marketing Department for a multi-national in Sydney, Australia, Russell returned to Atlanta and earned his MBA in Marketing from Georgia State University in 1991. He then embarked on a successful 11-year marketing/management/sales career in telecom/high-tech arena. He has used all of these skills and experiences to become a multi-million dollar producer with Jenny Pruitt &
Associates, and then Harry Norman, Realtors, selling over 100+ million dollars in real estate.
As a native Atlantan, Russell possesses an extensive and in-depth knowledge of many of the area’s
neighborhoods, schools, and attractions. He has insight into Atlanta’s past history and tradition, as well the city’s present and bright future. He cares deeply for his life long home and the community. Russell is a very outgoing, performance oriented individual. His far-reaching business experience, strong work ethic, dependability, character, and enthusiasm provide him the skills necessary to help his clients. Russell is active in the Atlanta Board of Realtors, The Leukemia Lymphoma Society, Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation, The Atlanta Bicycle Coalition, Peachtree Road United Methodist Church, Cherokee Town & Country Club and is on the Advisory Board of A.G. Rhodes Health & Rehab.
